A nicely appointed downtown view condo, but the buyer and agent  response was lukewarm.  It was mostly neutral in color and the updates and original work didn't merge well. We staged it with an oriental theme with natural elements to warm up the space. See how the contrast between the updated kitchen cabinets and the original spaces is minimized.
This upscale view Edmonds condo had a configuration challenge. The master bedroom was located on the lower level, and as a result was dark and had no views. Our goal in staging here was to make the master suite warm, bright and inviting. Here's the result:
	When this house was being listed, there were two almost identical properties also on the market in the same development. One of the two was vacant, the other was minimally staged. The owners followed our home preparation and staging recommendations, and the house sold, for full price--in today's slow market--the day it was listed!
Here's an example of how staging can minimize a home's shortcomings. It was hard to imagine a use for this 'L'-shaped bonus room, and without a closet it wasn't a legal bedroom. Given the potential buyer demographics we staged it as a home office. Now the awkward room configuration fades into the background.
	The shining features in this home were the original Craftsman details, but standing vacant every flaw and shortcoming drew the eye, too. We staged it using complimentary furnishings and accessories that were understated enough to showcase the house, yet also made it feel spacious  and welcoming to potential buyers.
This generic Kirkland condo needed to stand out from its competitors to draw buyer's attention. We added sizzle, and it sold about 5 weeks later. Both the agent and the seller were pleased with our staging--and the results!
